I have many dear friends who share my love of stamping. However, we all suffer from the same 'condition'. We LOVE our stamping supplies so much - that either we don't use them - you know - we save them for that special occasion - OR even worse - we are so busy or distracted we have stopped creating. There are so many challenges, new products, exciting blogs for inspiration out there....it's time to get started creating. Enjoy the new year everyone!

CCC Week 25
No excuses, just totally lost track of time and missed week 24. I have about 3 different weeks to get caught up on. I loved this week's technique, and decided it was time to stray from Holiday stamping since I've madly been getting my Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas completed and loaded (Take a look on my blog). I used victorian velvet and concord grape, with burlap dribbled. Can't say the pink survived all the other colors. The technique is fun, and I love the way the tags pick up the color. No more using the excuse of not having the right paper to make a project! I am loving the tag alterations die, and what about all those fun ideology embellishments! Anyone else had to go in search of just the right storage bin? I think I found the best one out there - I am using the bead organizers they sell for $1.99 at Michaels. They are clear so you can see everything at a glance. Well, it's good to be back in the swing of stamping and creating - finally using up some of the 'collection'! Happy New Year Everyone!

Terrific tag Jane, adore your background and great stamping. Annette x
ReplyDeleteI really like your tag! I found two old muffin tins that fit in my drawer just perfectly to hold all my TH pretties. Now I need to catch up on the challenges!!
ReplyDeleteJane, this is such a wonderful tag! Your scribble stain distress looks fabulous, and the stamping is awesome! Did you hand paint the flowers? Either way, they're delicate and sweet and perfect. The clock embellishment is just right.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, too! I hope your 2011 is spectacular!
