Gotta love Texture Fades...Grungy Monday 4

Looking at this - very simple design, - but I just love this techique. It was so amazing to me and opened so many doors to creativity when I saw the challenge on the Tim Holtz 10th tag of Christmas 2010. I used broken china and chipped sapphire Distress Inks with the clocks texture fade. Vintage Photo DI was used to distress the card and saying. The stamp is one of my new faves from Penny Black! If you have ever wondered why Tim has some really open 'blank' space on his texture fades -this is WHY. Not only can you color in the blank areas and create beautiful texture, you can stamp on it and make it multi-dimensional. Check it out!
