CCC2 13 - A little flick and spritz

Have you heard?  Linda Ledbetter over at Studio L3 is again hosting the Compendium of Curiosities challenge with Tim's 2nd book as the guide.  Hop on over to her blog and see what all the hype is about.  You will see some amazing artwork, get your creative juices going, and fall in Love with Tim Holtz all over again...if haven't already.  (Today he announced he has a new app for your smartphone...how fun is that).

This week our challenge was use the Spritz and Flick technique from page 42 of Tim's book.  I can't share the deets with you here, but you can buy the book and get the scoop for this technique along with many many others.

I got to play with some of my newest favorite distress ink colors - the summer distress inks. You've gotta see these to believe them.  The colors are so vibrant, they just scream summer!

Supplies Used:
Distress Inks:  Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberries, Mowed Lawn, and Squeezed Lemonade
Ideology brads and words
Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Florals Garland
Tim Holtz Word Stamp - Trust your Crazy Ideas
My sentiments Exactly:  Dragonfly
Magenta: hash mark accent stamp
Last but not least:  Biscotti Perfect Pearls

I have also submitted this card for:
Simon Says Stamp (no rules this week)

CCC2-11 It's Configuration Time

Oh my, not quite sure what I had gotten myself into.  I love love love Tim Holtz and his Compendium of Curiosities 2.  Linda - over at Studio L3 really has figured all this out.  She hosts a weekly challenge, and last time, I did them all.  This time around - life got in the way.  So - WHAT was I thinking starting on the most challenging of projects.  Well - I had a whole day to myself, nothing to do, but create.  I had an absolute BLAST.  I hope you enjoy my Configurations Box.

I really wasn't prepared to 'fill' the boxes, but was so excited that I rooted around in my 'stash of stuff and was pretty excited with what I found.
